Wells' books were concerned with such issues as Martians invading Earth in War of the Worlds and insane scientists manipulating life in The Island of Dr. With the help of her disillusioned ex-boyfriend Chase, Ember needs to find a way to escape, break her mother out of federal prison, and find a place for them to live in a world that no longer makes sense. Classicly I have not figured out how to show a complete listing of the books here. It is a 5 star book. > Scott Turow's Ordinary Heroes.

Based on Le tour du monde en 80 jours by Jules Verne. 60 min. Novels aren’t status symbols, or they shouldn’t be. Verne continued to write all the way up to his death. However, Orphanage is a top-notch MSF novel that takes the war-with-aliens to a new place...the moons of Jupiter.

This was unfortunate because, with only a few exceptions, films and television lagged decades behind the literature. On the thriller front, Zachary Bartels’s debut, Playing Saint (Thomas Nelson, Oct. 2014), has the pastor of a megachurch caught up in Da Vinci Code–like shenanigans but with more humor.
