Some of the materials of interest include semiconductor and metallic nanoparticles, dye molecules or polymers. Nanostructures and porous silicon: activity at interfaces in sensors and photocatalytic reactors. My research is in plasma physics, beam physics, nonlinear dynamics, and computational physics. We use the technologies we develop to push the envelope of what is possible with photonic and electrical devices, focusing in particular on the nanowire-based superconductive photodetectors.

The gyroid structures determine more than just color. She was able to excel in our medical physics program and published 3 papers and 4 proceedings during her MSc. The effects of hot pressing temperature, time and pressure on the evolution of nanostructures, grain growth and defects formation are discussed.
